Why read all four Gospels together?
Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John each emphasize different details while telling the same central story. Reading them close together makes their shared witness and individual emphases easier to see.
Notice repeated events, the questions Jesus asks, and the ways people respond to him. You do not need to resolve every difference before continuing.
What order should I read the Gospels?
This plan follows the familiar canonical order: Matthew, Mark, Luke, then John. That keeps the schedule straightforward and lets each Gospel speak in its complete form.
The aim is not to merge the four accounts into one timeline, but to listen carefully to each writer's presentation of Jesus.
